Dan Bilzerian is now off the hook after authorities drops the criminal charges against him for allegedly kicking a model in her face. The "King of Instagram" is now ready to move forward saying that things "got blown so far out of proportion."
Dan Bilzerian has been in quite a pickle late last year when reports surfaced that he assaulted a model by kicking her in the face in one of the clubs in Miami, Florida. Miami-based model Vanessa Castano claimed that the "King of Instagram" kicked her in the face sometime in December last year in one of the trendy clubs in South Beach.
In her lawsuit, Vanessa Castano alleged that "Bilzarian was on an elevated dancing platform, and violently and intentionally kicked plaintiff in the face while wearing what resembled military boots."
Miami Beach police investigated the incident and things went downhill for Dan Bilzerian since after a few days the Instagram star was arrested in Los Angeles on an explosive charges felony for allegedly discharging a homemade bomb at a shooting range outside Las Vegas.
However, things went around and the charges against the "King of Instagram" were now dropped. A spokesperson from Miami Beach Police Department confirmed that they have closed the investigation at the night club in Miami and dropped the criminal charges against him. Furthermore, the explosive charges felony was reduced to a misdeameanor charge.
Dan Bilzerian now says that "I'm ready to move on" as things settle. He further added that the authorities did a full investigation and "They got the club's [surveillance] video, which is much better and clearer than the handheld video that was posted online. And it shows that I didn't kick anyone."
The 34 poker player claims that he only broke up a fight and he spoke to the police afterwards. Dan Bilzerian closed his statement that "I don't believe in violence against women," adding further that. "I would never assault a woman. It got blown so far out of proportion."
