"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will now commence its Closed Beta on March 31 to allow players to give feedback to the new units, game mechanics and contents that will be introduced in the upcoming expansion. Blizzard revealed that it won't be the last and final story for the StarCraft lore as they intend to open up new aspects in the StarCraft Universe.
STARCRAFT 2: LEGACY OF THE VOID BETA
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" will start its closed beta on March 31 and a lot of players were looking forward to getting invited and having a beta key in order to access the game. SC2 Legacy of the Void Closed Beta is one of the important stages in the development of StarCraft since it will determine the future gameplay of the game. This is the stage where players will get to test the new units and mechanics of the game. They will also be able to weed out the bugs that can be game breaking.
Blizzard has decided to start their beta for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" sooner than what they have expected since they wanted to get the feedback from their players directly. However, according to the developers, the upcoming beta will be:
1. Rough than usual at the start;
2. There will be some missing some units, improvements, features;
3. The beta will run for a longer period than usual;
4. They ask for the StarCraft 2 Beta testers to give their feedback and cooperate with play-testing support in order to polish up the latest StarCraft 2 expansion.
BEYOND LEGACY OF THE VOID
"StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void" is the third and final installment in the StarCraft 2 Trilogy which has been set by Blizzard since it has released "Wings of Liberty" last 2010. "Legacy of the Void" will be wrapping up the story of StarCraft 1 and 2 and it they promise to deliver an epic closure to all the loose plot that was left by StarCraft , Brood War, Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm.
However, even though this will be the final installment for StarCraft 2, Blizzard promises that "StarCraft will live on as a universe," and they even revealed that. "We hope to explore some other aspects of the universe, but the storyline that was setup in StarCraft I and continued in StarCraft II will resolve in Legacy of the Void. All of those main characters will reach a nice, satisfying conclusion."
StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is set for a closed beta release on March 31. The game will conclude the story of the StarCraft I and II as it paves way for a new beginning in the StarCraft Universe.
