"Kingdom Hearts 3" is one of the biggest game franchises from Square Enix but up until now, fans were all wondering what happened to the development of the game. Recent reports reveal that the game developers are currently planning to reveal a new title this November on D23 Expo Japan could it be be related to "Kingdom Hearts 3" update and release?
Square Enix has been developing several game franchises this year and they are currently busy promoting and getting the fans hyped with their latest instalment in the Final Fantasy franchise. The Kingdom Hearts series is also being developed but it is currently overshadowed by the release of "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" demo.
THE BIG SURPRISE
However, recent news reveals that Square Enix is currently planning to announce a new title beside their Final Fantasy game series. The gaming company is looking forward to "surprise" their fans on the celebration of D23 Expo 2015 Japan. The company aims to reveal a lot of information on their upcoming title at the Tokyo Game Show this year.
Yosuke Matsuda, the President of Square Enix, said that "At the moment, we have major titles such as Dragon Quest Heroes and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD," he added that "In 2015, I believe we will offer a vast number of high-end games in both the domestic market and overseas. Now that we've already announced Final Fantasy XV, we will also reveal information on [another] JRPG. I believe we have a bit of a surprise in store for this year."
He continued that "If I were to put it simply, it would be a 'box of surprises'. I believe we'd like to go all out and offer as many things full of fun and surprises," the president talked about the company's big surprise. "And I'd like for us to maintain a development system that can continuously bring out this 'box of surprises'. For the year 2015, as far as HD game titles go, our Japanese and western development studios will increase their lineup by a vast amount, so I'd like you all to keep an eye out for that."
A Kingdom Hearts fan event is also scheduled this November 3 at Cinema Ikspiari, Tokyo Disney Resort. Last 2013, D23 Expo Japan Event revealed "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix" and gameplay teaser trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3". Fans can expect Square Enix and Disney to participate in the event and announce details on the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3".
PLOT AND "THE KEY TO RETURN HEARTS" REVEALED
Sora will be back in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" as the story continues from the Dream Drop Distance game. Riku, Donald Duck, Goofy and King Mickey will be back to help Sora in his search for the seven guardians of light and the "Key to Return Hearts". The group will also encounter the previous Keyblade wielders in order to stop Xehanort's plans.
"The Key to Return Hearts" was earlier revealed to be an important piece in the plot of the upcoming game and it could be pivotal in final confrontation between Sora and Master Xehanort in "Kingdom Hearts 3".
