LG G4 Release Date: No Metal Design? 5.5" Screen Equipped with 4K Display, Android Lollipop-Powered Phone Expected

By

In 2014, LG had released the LG G3 which is the phone with the highest screen resolution to be ever made. However, in general, the phone can be considered as good. But lately, the internet has been abuzz with rumors regarding the release of the LG G4. The question now is how will the LG G4 be different and unique from all the recent smart phones that had been decreed to be released this 2015?

Since the LG G4 was not released during the MWC event in Barcelona, fans could expect the phone to be announced in the second quarter of this year. The phone will be declared in a separate occasion as to let the market draw its focus on the LG G4 alone. The LG G4 will have its release as early as April or the latest on June.

One of the biggest complain that LG had encountered with its G3 is that many users had found the plastic casing as a bit cheap. However, LG might not be able to address this issue. According to ZDNet Korea, LG will be ready to manufacture metal-bodied phones on the second half of the year. This would mean that the device will be released a bit earlier for it to be metal-bodied thus will be retaining its plastic case.

The newest LG smart phone will be one of the biggest smart phones in the market. Its predecessor, the LG G3 had sized up to 5.5 inches already. But LG had not stopped in increasing its device size because the LG G4 will be a notch bigger with a 5.6 inch screen size. Also, according to the leaks from nowhereelse.fr., the LG G4 would be sporting a slightly curved display which is but a bit less emphasized than the LG G Flex 2.

Also, the LG G4 is also rumored to sport a 4K display. The device will run with an Android Lollipop.
