"Minecraft" would be releasing two new DLCs this week and this would include the release of the "Mass Effect" Mash-Up Pack. The other DLC would be the Pattern Texture Pack, which would apply soft colors to the game.
The two DLCs would be available on the "Minecraft" PS4, PS3, and PS Vita editions. The Pattern Texture Pack would "allow players to decorate their "Minecraft" worlds with bright colors, beautiful patterns, and knitted animals," based on an entry from the PlayStation Blog. Also, the pack would "provide a themed UI and stylized texture set." These could be applied to all the gamer created worlds in "Minecraft."
Meanwhile, the "Mass Effect" Mash-Up Pack would allow games to explore the Mars Facility, which was brought out from Bioware's "Mass Effect 3." Apart from that, gamers would also be able to create their own "Mass Effect" world using a variety of "textures and craftable items," inspired by the Bioware title. Apart from these, gamers would also be able to use "36 character skins," while "22 music tracks let players battle Reapers in a blocky Minecraft universe."
"Minecraft" gamers would now be able to download the "Mass Effect" Mash-Up Pack. Although there had been no reports confirming the prices of the DLCs in all the game consoles it would be available, Xbox had already marked the "Mass Effect" Mash-Up Pack at US$3.99 and "Mass Effect" Mash-Up Pack at US$9.
In a report early this month, "Minecraft" released "The Simpsons" DLC pack. The pack included all the members of the Simpsons family (Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and Maggie), as well as characters from Springfield Elementary School (Principal Seymour Skinner, Mrs. Edna Krabappel, Groundskeeper Willie, Otto Man, Milhouse Van Houten, Nelson Muntz, Jimbo Jones, Ralph Wiggum, Martin Prince, Kearney, Dolph, Wendell, Database, Uter, Janey Powell, Superintendent Gary Chalmers, Mr. Dewey Largo, Sherri and Terri) for US$2.99. The skin packed was released for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
