CBS's Criminal Minds is set to have a spinoff this 2015 with a powerful cast as the headliners.
Criminal Minds spinoff series focuses on a division of the FBI with the FBI agents assisting American citizens who encounter various problems overseas. Gary Sinise, the former "CSI:NY" star, will be playing the role of Jack Garrett, a 20-year FBI veteran who is spearheading the bureau's top team. CBS also felt that Sinise had a good and effective performance on "CSI:NY" and was on the lookout for another series and he responded immediately to the network's offer. (via Deadline)
Aside from Gary Sinise, another lead star of the series is Anna Gunn, start of "Breaking Bad". Gunn will play the character of Ally Lambert, an international law expert who happens to be a skilled linguist, too opposite the character Jack Garrett, played by Gary Sinise.

The other powerful character in the new casting of the series is Daniel Henney playing the role of a charming family man Matt Simmons, armed with profiling skills honed with his acquired training in the battlefield and who is also considered as an army brat. Henney is the voice behind Tadashi in Disney's Oscar-nominated animated movie, "Big Hero 6" and he also appeared on "Hawaii Five-O" and "NCIS: Los Angeles", both from CBS/CBS Studios. Another notable character portrayed by Henney on the big screen is Agent Zero in "X-men Origins:Wolverine". (Via Design and Blend)
CBS Chairman Nina Tasser when asked in an interview about the network's new approach to the soon-to-be released spinoff stated that "First lesson is to do it better. Erica Messer had been part of Criminal Minds since Day 1. Having her, one of the best showrunners in the business behind it, that's key difference between the spinoff and the 1st one." (via Deadline)
All new casts in the production possess strong acting credentials and is sure to become a big hit series once the pilot episode is broadcasted. The projected premiere of Criminal Minds spinoff series could be this fall of 2015.
