In another shocking revelation, the tumultuous on-off relationship of celebrity couple Kourtney Kardashian and party animal Scott Disick gets even saucier as reportedly Disick is engaged to Kendall Jenner, Kourtney's famous younger half-sister. Good thing before the twisted tale of a horrid love triangle fully unfolds, RumorFix comes to the rescue, sets the record straight and debunks the whole thing as largely fabricated.
But even with the timely report, the rumor mill about the Kardashians has never been busier. It seems ever since the Kardashians have shot to fame thanks to their successful ET TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and their jet-setting lifestyle, the family has been dogged by an endless stream of nasty rumors - one after the other.
The Art of Catching Public Attention
There's no denying Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's love affair is not made in heaven - despite their three kids.
You can say they have an exciting albeit rocky relationship. Disick's well-publicized drug rehab last year is one classic example.
Therefore, it would come as no surprise to everybody if the celebrity couple eventually splits up.
However, recently Star Magazine may have upped the ante when it reported that according to its "sources" Scott proposed to Kendall but was refused.
According to the magazine's text: "[Scott] got tipsy and proposed to Kendall...He didn't get down on one knee or produce a ring, but he said, 'We should get married'... [Kendall] actually told him to stop and said they had to end 'whatever this is'...She begged him to go home to Kourtney and make things work, because she didn't know how they could carry on without destroying the family."
In hindsight, such mind-boggling accusations are no foreign territory to Star. Not too long ago last month, the cheesy tabloid run a story that says Kendall is carrying Scott's baby.
Setting the Records Straight
It did not take long for the truth to come out. Without mincing words, Rumor Fix sets the record straight saying that the whole thing is totally made up saying:
"Last month Star initially published a story that Kendall and Scott were just hooking up, but things escalated when the publication later claimed that the 31-year-old got the 19-year-old pregnant -- a rumor RumorFix debunked...we reached out to a rep but have yet to hear back. However, we're going to go ahead and label this one another rumor fix because, well, it's obviously just lies on lies on lies."
Of course, with all the media circus going on it's really hard to separate the rumors from what is real news - especially when wild antics such as the reported transformation from man to woman of the Jenner patriarch, the champion decathlete Bruce Jenner hit the nation.
