'Spectre' trailer premieres on Friday, March 27: Will we see Christoph Waltz as Blofeld?

By

Spectre, the latest film in the James Bond franchise, is finally going to reveal some real footage- the first trailer for the film, which will be premiering this week! The news came via the official Twitter page for James Bond, which revealed exactly when and where the trailer will premiere:

"The #SPECTRE teaser trailer will be released on Friday March 27 at 11.45pm (GMT)."

As well, the James Bond Twitter page provided a hyperlink, where the trailer can be watched when it premieres online (something that's probably going to crash the Internet- or at least rack up a few million hits).

But what exactly are we going to see in the first Spectre trailer? Some details will be obvious, like Daniel Craig as the classic English secret agent, along with the classic music that's accompanied every Bond film. As well, we'll probably see the first looks at some of the new characters being introduced in Spectre, like Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser, Dave Bautista as the villainous Mr. Hinx and Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann. As well, there's the potential that a Mexican woman, Stephanie Sigman, might be the film's Bond girl, a first for the series.

There might even be some clues regarding Waltz's character, Oberhauser, who's long been rumored to be the film's villain, and is also rumored to have ties to the classic Bond villain, Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Just remember, if you ever see Waltz with a shaved head and a white cat, chances are he's probably Blofeld.

Spectre is likely to be a huge trailer premiere, as the last James Bond film, Skyfall, made an enormous sum of money at the box office- more than a billion dollars in total. For that reason, expect the hype around Spectre to balloon up into massive proportions on Friday, when that trailer's released.

Spectre will premiere in theaters on November 6, 2015.
