All-Time Useful iOS 8.2 Bug Fixes and More: Installation Errors, Bluetooth Settings Unveiled

By

Bug fixes for iOS 8.2 are not as isolated as their causes have been reported the past two weeks. That is because the problems themselves are not that huge, thus giving device users quick solutions to any problems they may encounter after installing the said iOS. In fact, most of the problems that device users have encountered when getting the iOS 8.2 on board can be fixed by basic troubleshooting tips.

For instance, iMessage problems - one issue that iOS 8.2 device users experienced - can be fixed with these three basic troubleshooting tips. One is toggling iMessage on and off. Another is rebooting the device and, if that still doesn't work, try to reset the device's settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note that the third option may take several minutes to complete and will lose saved datas. As such, it will be a good move to back up some important files before resetting the device.

That is a "little" sacrifice to the benefit that you'll gain once your device start functioning as it should once you're done resetting your phone. Another iOS 8.2 issue that can be fixed by resetting your device include Bluetooth problems. With regard to this issue, it is also recommended to reset the Bluetooth setting on the device users are pairing with the iOS tablet or phablet. Once the Bluetooth settings of the two devices have been reset, try reconnecting the iOS 8.2 device to the laptop or car or whatever you are pairing your Apple device with.

Auto updating your device will also keep apps updated, including apps meant to fix bugs. To auto update your iOS device, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Toggle Updates on.

Other measures that you can make to improve the performance of a device after installing the iOS 8.2 include removing animations and flashy effects, such as parallax effect and transparency of the screen across iOs 8. To adjust settings of moving objects, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion. Tapping on Reduce Motion. To reduce transparency, go to Settings > and look for General on the menu, then Accessibility, followed by Increase Contrast and from there look for Reduce Transparency. Activate that option.

The iOS 8.2 bug fixes enumerated above should help make your device functioning like before it encountered iOS installation problems.
