Patrick Schwarzenegger might have been photographed enjoying a "wild" spring break with another girl last week, but his girlfriend Miley Cyrus's dad Billy Ray Cyrus apparently did not seem to care. In fact, Pat has gained a new supporter in Billy Ray, who defended him amid cheating rumors and called him "a good boy."
When asked about his opinion on Patrick's controversial behavior during his spring break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the country singer told TMZ that the 21-year-old was just having fun.
"He's a good boy," Billy Ray said of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's son, who has been dating his daughter since November.
It seems Miley herself is also dealing with the controversy rather positively, as she and Patrick were spotted grabbing a late-night sushi dinner at Kiwami in L.A. on Monday, March 23.
A source told Us Weekly that Miley and Patrick went on the date solo. "They were out on the patio for about an hour," the eyewitness added.
Patrick allegedly spent the night with the "Wrecking Ball" singer post dinner date, but they went their separate ways the following day, according to E!
Nevertheless, media outlets claim that the pair are not yet completely on good terms, and break up rumors following the controversy remain persistent. The two "have not been doing well," according to a source. "Some days great, others not."
The former "Hannah Montana" star has yet to break her silence after the risqué photos of her beau embracing and taking body shots off a bikini-clad girl surfaced online last week. Patrick, on the other hand, took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the photos, calling them "misleading."
"Would NEVER do anything against my GF," the Kennedys descendant wrote. "Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls..."
Since his arrival and reunion with Miley, Patrick has been allegedly doting on her to win her affection and earn her forgiveness. It was also reported that Pat's mom Maria Shriver herself called Miley to convince her that her son "really cared for her" and "wouldn't do anything to ruin the relationship."
