"Captain America" star Chris Evans is apparently getting serious with "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" actress Lily Collins. The two were recently spotted enjoying a cozy Italian dinner date in Los Angeles, the first time they actually stepped out together for a romantic date.
While Evans, 33, and Collins, 26, have yet to confirm the nature of their relationship, the photos of their sweet date night over the weekend showed the pair cozying up with each other. The images show the Hollywood hunk heading into a fancy Italian restaurant with Collins, who looked gorgeous in a simple dress and sweater. Evans, on the other hand, opted to go comfy with a black shirt and a pair of jeans.
The two appeared to have enjoyed their dinner date as they were photographed smiling and laughing outside after they finished their meal. A source told E! News that the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" star ordered a beer and was seemingly talkative, and both stars seemed to be quite flirtatious.
"It for sure seemed like they were on a date," said the source.
Rumors of their romance started earlier this month, with some media outlets reporting that the two have been spending time together. In one report, the "Mirror Mirror" star was allegedly spotted paying visits to the actor's Los Angeles home. The two have never worked together for the same project, but they did meet at Vanity Fair's post-Oscars bash earlier this year, said Us Weekly.
Nevertheless, Evans and Collin's recent date night could just be a post-celebration of the actress' 26th birthday. The British-American actress was last romantically linked with Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel. She also previously dated her fellow stars such as Jamie Campbell Bower, Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron.
On the other hand, Evans last shared a high-profile relationship with actress Minka Kelly. He and the "Almost Human" star reportedly dated on and off for 6 years. They were said to have split up in 2013.
The actor is currently busy promoting his latest film, Marvel's "The Avengers: Age of Ultron." He reprises his role as Captain America in the film, which features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, among others.
"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is scheduled to hit theaters in May.
