Gamers who observed the downgrading of their "Grand Theft Auto V" game after updating it with the latest patch would soon be getting some relief as Rockstar Games released "GTA 5" patch 1.09 for the next generation consoles PS4 and Xbox One. Also, gamers might be seeing the release of "Grand Theft Auto VI" in 2016.
"Grand Theft Auto 5" PS4 and Xbox One Edition owners would now be able to update their games with the latest "GTA 5" patch 1.09; the latest patch would also be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions as patch 1.23. The recently released patch would address the reported downgrading of the game's graphic quality after gamers updated their copies earlier with the newest patch.
The "GTA 5" patch 1.09 / 1.23 would also making the heist match making faster and would also provide new options at the lobby, like allowing strangers to join in the heists, based on a report from Cinema Blend. Apart from that, the patch would also be fixing the bug that caused vehicle damage to look slightly detailed. Although, "Grand Theft Auto V" patch 1.09 would try to solve the glitches caused by its predecessor, it was still unable to do a perfect job.
Add to that, the patch 1.09 / 1.23 might have a side effect on "GTA 5" Online Heists characters as these abruptly change their appearances since the "Grand Theft Auto 5" gamers updated their games with the latest patch. Then, there was also the concern over the lower draw-distance, which was still a graphics issue that was not included on the latest patch notes.
Meanwhile, rumors had been spreading that "Grand Theft Auto 6" would likely be released in 2016. The game would supposedly be set in Vice City, which would be a return to the original setting of the franchise. Add to that, the developers had supposedly been looking at the options of using real time maps of megacities like Las Vegas, London, New York or Paris.
Apart from that, a female playable character might be on the rise in "GTA 6" based on notes from earlier interviews with Rockstar Games executives. The gaming company's big wigs explained that they were just waiting for the right game to launch a female playable character in the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise.
Whenever that would be, Rockstar Games should have fixed the bugs and glitches in "GTA 5" by that time, considering that the "Grand Theft Auto V," as well as its "GTA 5" Online Heists, had been receiving such positive reviews.
