Justin Bieber triumphantly got back on stage through a surprise performance during Ariana Grande's Honeymoon Tour in Miami on Saturday, March 28.
Bieber and Grande's special collaboration drove thousands of fans wild at the American Airlines arena where the singer-actress was holding her latest tour. Amid the screams and cheering of the crowd, however, the Biebs apparently forgot a few of the lyrics of Grande's song during one of their duets, though neither the duo nor the fans seemed to mind.
Grande, 21, was starting to sing her hit single "Love Me Harder" when Bieber appeared to join her on stage, according to People.
The Canadian singer sang the parts originally performed by The Weeknd, but as he didn't remember the lyrics completely, he accidentally messed up some lines.
"So I feel bad, I forgot the words, Ariana," the former teen heartthrob told the pop songstress after their duet. "I've been trying to memorize them backstage for like an hour!"
Yet, Bieber's mistake did not seem to bother the main star of the night, as she assured the "Baby" hit-maker that "nobody heard" and even went on another duet with him, performing Bieber's hit song "All That Matters." They also duet on the Biebs' 2012 single, "As Long As You Love Me," with the pop diva taking over the rap verse originally performed by no less than her boyfriend Big Sean.
Despite initially flubbing the lyrics, Bieber seemed to have enjoyed his collaboration with Grande. He even posted on Instagram later that night a photo of himself singing with Grande on stage, with a caption: "Had fun with u Ariana, even though I forgot all the words haha."
The two young pop stars also expressed their gratitude to each other via Twitter. The 21-year-old "Boyfriend" singer wrote, "Thank you @ArianaGrande and thank you Miami. I missed the stage. See u soon ;)"
"The Way" singer tweeted, "Thank u Miami babes and thank u @JustinBieber!!!"
Yet, whether the two will join again for another tour or project is something that fans and media outlets are yet to see.
