'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is only a month away, and fans can't wait to see Earth's Mightiest Heroes on the big screen once again. The list has grown since they last fought Loki, this time including characters such as Col James Rhodes (a.k.a. 'War Machine') and Maria Hill, but probably the most intriguing addition to the superhero team has been the brother and sister duo of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, who wil be portrayed by Aaron Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, respectively.
In a recent interview made by IGN with Olsen, the actress shared some of her thoughts on playing Scarlet Witch in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.' When asked about the heroine's abilities, Olsen said:
"Yeah, so I am able to go into someone's head and they'd never see. I can feel and see what they feel and see. So it's not just me manipulating them. What I love about her is that, in so many superhero films, emotions are kind of negated a bit, but for her everything that someone else could feel -- like their weakest moments -- she physically goes through that same experience with them, which is pretty cool."
Olen then gave some details on the Scarlet Witch's ability to manipulate energy, which is shown by the red swirls and blasts that her character uses in the trailer. Olsen also described how her character will be portrayed on screen by stating, "I'm having a journey of discovering how powerful she can be. So we've got to figure out what all those different levels are."
While both the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are characters that will definitely appear in 'Age of Ultron,' there are some speculations that these characters may also share a scene with the Avengers in the film, according to Avishek Roy of Movie Pilot:
Spider-Man. Now that Sony and Marvel are working together to reboot the Spider-Man franchise, rumors of the famous web-crawler's cameo in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is not far from possible. After all, Spider-Man does play a significant role in 'Captain America: Civil War.'
Captain Marvel: Rumors
The Inhumans. This is another possibility, given that 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' is currently immersed in the storyline. The more significant question is: will Director Coulson and his team make an appearance in 'Age of Ultron?'
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' hits theaters on May 2, 2015.
