Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo were reportedly settling down, finally. Just recently, Nick Jonas went down on one knee during one of his major performances and shocked Olivia. Reports have claimed that the famous couple have been planning on getting married and plans are reportedly well on their way. Fans have been wondering whether Olivia is indeed ready to say her wedding vows.
Nick Jonas, 22, and Olivia Culpo, 22, have been dating for quite a long time now. The couple have been hinting on their impending wedding too. While passing her Miss Universe crown down to the new winner back in 2013, the former Miss Universe stated, "To the very person special person who puts a smile on my face everyday, I can't wait to start this new chapter with you." However, a recent event just occurred, which seemed to show that Olivia Culpo is at present, not yet ready to actually enter the married life.
Early this year, the singer-songwriter performed his song "Jealous" during the Miss Universe 2015 competition in Miami, Florida. Nick Jonas kneeled in front of Culpo and was shocked to witness her reaction. He told a source: "I went down and sang to her and I go on a knee and approached her. Her face was in full panic, she thought I was going to propose on national TV in front of one billion people," and he added that, "We're 22 so there's plenty of time to do that [marriage]."
Olivia might have seemed shocked, but she took to social media still to express her emotions. "Best part of tonight. Being serenaded by this stud," she later posted on Instagram. Obviously, Olivia's shocked reaction sent Nick Jonas the impression that the former Miss Universe was not yet ready to finally settle down with him.
Sources reported that, "Nick has been ring shopping for months and wants to pop the question the Miss Universe 2012 title holder during a romantic dinner," and added that, "The entire Jonas family is in on the big secret. Everybody adores Olivia and thinks they are perfect for each other. Nick's never been the player type. He values his religious beliefs and knows that he's ready to settle down."
The two are still enjoying their time and it was no big deal for Nick Jonas that Olivia Culpo reacted quite the way she did during the event.
Nick Jonas shared, "At some point, it would be ideal [to settle down], but we're still quite young and we're going on a journey."
