By

George R.R. Martin seems very eager to finish the sixth installment of his A Song of Fire and Ice - "The Winds of Winter" and yet fans remains continuously disappointed and anticipating with its release. Chances of releasing the book this coming fall, as expected by fans is most likely not happening. Rumors of the television series bypassing the events in the book also continues.

George R.R. Martin on the other hand is giving of the cold shoulder to the speculations and expectations of his followers, "I don't know, I mean, that'll be up to the fans. The show is going forward, I'm going forward. We'll see." It was earlier reported that GRRM decided not to attend the Comicon in San Diego as well as several events to be able to complete the book.

Bashers and several negative comments about the writer are being posted online. Hopefully his decision to inform the public the he is indeed working on the book as fast and as efficient as he can, would change the impressions of the disappointed fans. "I have so much to do, too many things on my plate, Son of Kong foremost amongst them." The writer shared.

On the other hand, the HBO television series is about to return this coming April12. Martin even announced spoilers about the upcoming season. According to the writer, DB Weiss and David Benioff are killing several major characters in the movie that are actually still alive in the books.

The fear of the TV series ending earlier than that of the books, or the possibility of the series ending without a Book 6 and Book 7 of the book series is indeed a very big deal for fans. With the rate of how GRRM is writing and with a 1,500 paged book still on the works, fans are left to no choice but wait.

Meanwhile an October 6, 2015 for GRRM's Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was already posted on the official website.
