Just a week after "Bloodborne" was released, From Software released patch 1.02 for the PS4 exclusive that had been receiving amazing reviews since the time it was launched. The latest patch would ensure that gamers would continue to get the fantastic experience they had been raving about since March 24th.
From Software and Sony Computer Entertainment had been keeping an eye on a reported glitch in "Bloodborne." One glitch in particular, was on the "progression breaking bug when summoning or invading someone's world in the Forbidden Woods." It was noted that the gamers were "unable to receive the key to progress forward," based on a report from Hardcore Gamer.
More on the progression breaking bug, it was noticed that the bug would occur once the gamer joined in an online multiplayer game through the use of a Resonant Bell" item from the Forbidden Woods. What would happen next was the gamer would not be able to get the Lunarium Key, which was important in accessing the "unlocks" to defeat a boss the next area. Apart from that, the gamers would not be able to reach the boss and defeat it. Add to that, gamers would not be able to visit Master Willem or the Moonside Lake The bug was also active in the hostile invader in the online multiplayer game, based on a report from Gamespot.
Add to that, patch 1.02 would also resolve the duplication glitch, which allowed gamers to replicate their items without any further costs. This would also mean that gamers would no longer be able to trade their pebbles for experience points or any items in the game. Meanwhile, the developers were still looking at a fix on the reported long loading time for "Bloodborne."
"Bloodborne" had been regarded as one of the best looking games as well as highly engaging games (debatably of all time) since it was released, despite the fact that gamers constantly die in the gameplay.
