Today, Sledgehammer Games introduces the most recent "update" for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for PS4 and PC platforms where it can enable Ascendance DLC along with fixing various issues associated to the game. Although, the "update" does not support Ascendance as of yet, it was reported that it will come available next month.
The latest fixing updates uses up a memory of 2.56GB, according to a source which includes In-Game Updates, Weapons Updates, UI Updates, Challenges Updates, Store Updates, Emblem Updates, Scorestreak Updates, Broadcaster Updates, Game Mode and Specific Updates, Map Specific Updates, Exo Survival Updates and Exo Zombies Updates.
However, this update does not include "Ascendance" DLC as of the meantime but the company reassures gamers that it will come next month.
Meanwhile, 'Ascendance' introduces additional game features as part of the second DLC of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. A website explored these new additional which include four multiplayer maps such as Climate, Chop Shop, Perplex and Site. It also introduces two all-new weapons, a directed energy hybrid that can use up as machine gun/shot gun depending on the range and the so-called OHM Werewolf Custom Variant.
It was explained that in order to choose which weapon to use base on its range, players must check on its modes by pressing the desired and accurate button. Buttons has two modes, light mode and heavy weapon mode.
In addition, a new playlist called Exo Grapple which allows gamers to reach vantage points and acquire secondary weapons in a quicker manner. Lastly, Ascendance lets gamers experience the newest version of "Zombie Invasion" mode where players in this chapter must escort random civilians to safety from attacking zombies. It was also reported that in this new chapter of Zombie mode, AI zombies are tougher and harder to deal with.
Ascendance is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC, a second DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Although a recent update for the said games does not support 'Ascendance', makers confirmed that it will be made available next month.
