Things are looking up for Batman Legoverse fans as an expanded universe awaits with the upcoming addition of new stunning characters and villains.

Finally, additional content is here as the final DLC for Lego Batman 3's Season Pass gets introduced for the public's greater fun consumption. Expected to roll in digital stores this March, 'The Squad' DLC Pack will allow raving fans to play the roles of the (in)famous Suicide Squad.

And more - much more - as by end of March, users will gain free access to the Heroine and Villainesses Pack giving PS4 and PS3 along with Xbox 360 and Xbox One users a better gaming experience.

Expanded Universe

As reported on iDigitalTimes, the Suicide Squad or dubbed as a more kid-friendly LEGO term 'The Squad' will be available soon for Lego Batman 3 expanding the role-playing game even more.

Akin to the Bizarro pack that preceded it, this new set will usher in new characters to control and new twists into the storyline.

In an attempt to stop an infiltrator who is bent on uncovering Amanda Waller's secrets, gamers will have to navigate the terrain through the Belle Reve Penitentiary as Deadshot, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang together with the rest of The Suicide Squad.

What's amazing is you could choose to play in story mode or in free play to give you the power to unlock even more characters and minikits - vehicles including.

However, there's more. Lego Batman 3 fans will soon gain access to Heroines and Villainesses Pack which will come as a free downloadable add-on.

In the new set-up, players will soon have the option of playing Teen Titans stars, namely the mighty strong Raven, ground-tearing Terra and the alien princess Starfire, PissedOffGeek reports. To complete your hero list is the animal-mimic Vixen and soon enough you will be battling formidable villains in the form of the explosive Plastique and the cold mayhem in Killer Frost.

North American Roll-out

Access to the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham DLC Season Pass is pegged at $14.99 or you can also purchase each Season Pass pack one at a time at $2.99 each, according to Batman News.

It will available as early as March 3.

As for the Heroines and Villainesses Pack, it will be out for free download for North American fans separately - on March 31 for PS4 and PS3 gamers and on April 1 for Xbox and Xbox One players.

A similar schedule will be rolled-out for all UK fans to take advantage of.
