Battlefield 4 vs Battlefield Hardline Updates: BF4 All-Time Popular than Hardline; Failing reward system, DLC, survey results revealed

Though both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline were already out in the market, with Hardline just released last March 17, yet, there are a lot of players remain to Battlefield 4 for the last week.

Based from the survey made by one site that determined the popularity of the two big EA titles, it resulted to a surprising and interesting statistics. Although Hardline came years after the 4th Battlefield series, which was also predicted to have the most number of players than the latter. But, that's not what the survey said.

According to the survey, there are more than 1.7 million (almost reaching 1.8 million) of players around the globe who played the Battlefield 4 compared to merely around 1.2 million for Hardline. The survey was made to see the real-time popularity games for Battlefield 3, 4, and Hardline for 7 days.

P-Stats Network, the one who posted the survey through their Twitter account, said, "#BF4 s still the most played Battlefield. #BFHardline is very strong on PS4."

A lot of avid Battlefield gamers were surprised to the results, as some even doubted to the accuracy of the given data. Some tweeted, "Totally unexpected results!"

In general, when these results were interpreted, it showed that these two Battlefield series were doing good for PC and consoles, yet the Hardline was the most played to the console version compared to the PC. This was also contrasted to Battlefield 4, which is strong for the PC platform, including the consoles as well.

Perhaps, there is one part of the gameplay that Battlefield 4 features, which were not included in the Hardline series. Some of the fans said that although both are good for PC platforms, yet there is a big difference with the graphics.

However, if the gamers were asked about the gameplay, especially to Battlefield 4 [the most-played], there are still negative feedbacks about it, too. These were generally about the reward system of the game developer to the fans [with higher ranks]. So, it would still stir some curiosity as to how the Battlefield 4 still remains on top than Hardline.

With that being said, one of the gamers told Venture Capital Post that though Battlefield 4 is great in terms of gameplay, yet there are some downsides. One thing is the DLCs added to higher ranks in the gameplay. There were not really fit for the given scenario [of the level], by saying,

"The more you played Battlefield 4, the more you will notice how much the so-called award-system of ranking sucks," he added, "After sometime of playing, you realize that not in every Battlepack is really useful stuff included. Usually, you will get another item for creating your logo or another 25% xp-booster, new paints you will never use and such stuff like scopes. It's okay. You get that stuff for free anyway."

If this is given to have bad side for the Battlefield 4, but why there are still millions who played the game more than the Battlefield Hardline released this year. Perhaps, this is because of the trust earned from gamers due to length of time. Lately, EA also released latest DLC for BF4 that comes with new sets of weapons.

Maybe, sooner or later, the population of gamers for Hardline will also increase like the Battlefield 4.
