The lawsuit between EXO members Kris and Luhan and SM Entertainment has stretched on for months, and seems like it might never end. And while the fans are slowly losing their minds from the aggravation of this lawsuit, at least the band's been able to pump out a new song amidst all their legal troubles.
Billboard just released a review of the band's album, "Exodus," and they've given it extremely high marks. They love nearly every track on the album, from "Call Me Baby," "Exodus" to "Playboy" and "Lady Luck." Billboard absolutely loves the album, and the band, although unfortunately adding that their album might only sell 3,000-4,000 copies. However, with quotes like this- "Exodus is one of the more ambitious full-lengths for a boy band in recent years"- it's hard not to assume that the band might have a strong US following in the coming years.
However, despite their critical successes, the lawsuit between EXO members and SM entertainment continues to rage on. Kris and Luhan, two members of the unbelievably popular K-pop boy band, decided they would terminate their contracts in May & October of last year. But that didn't go over so well, and SM Entertainment ended up suing the two of them for "alleged violation of their contracts," arguing that Kris and Luhan were focusing their attentions on projects in China.
However, Kris and Luhan have only been growing more famous as the lawsuit rages on, and both EXO musicians have been receiving a number of offers for other ventures, like movies or commercials, or even other events altogether. So however the lawsuit ends, it's likely that Kris and Luhan will come out on top and have a solid career ahead of them.
What do you think? Will SM or Kris and Luhan end up on top in this long-running lawsuit?
