The "Birdman" actress reportedly took her brother as her date, the Oscar's is one of the highlight events for the Hollywood stars, and Emma is one of them. A source stated that, "Andrew takes things way too seriously and he changed his mind in joining Emma last minute because he told her that he wanted it to be about her." "He wanted the night to be about Birdman and just the film and all that surrounds it, not their relationship," he added.
Lately a source stated, "Emma can usually be seen on outings with her man Andrew Garfield in New York, but Emma Stone has been spending plenty of time on the opposite coast without her superhero boyfriend as of late." But recently, Stone is loving the weather under the sunny Southern California together with her female friends. The couple is clearly on the rocks since Garfield is now in Taiwan to shoot for a film and will soon be filming at Australia.
According to source, "It's clear they've drifted apart. It's an unspoken issue, but everybody knows they are on hold." "Andrew was filming [during the award shows] but he could have gotten away if he really wanted to. The fact was, neither one of them wanted to plaster on a smile nor pretend everything was okay when it wasn't," the source added.
