After two years in the making, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is ready to take the next step as Ubisoft has announced that a PC Closed Alpha release begins April 7 and ends on the 13th. Time on the event start and end will vary depending on region but for Eastern countries, it will begin and end at 10 a.m. on the respective dates.

The game which was first announced on June 9, 2014 at E3 will now start testing several features of the game including gameplay, server infrastructure, and general experience. Though, the company reminds possible testers that what will be present in the Closed Alpha is a small partition of the overall content of the entire game.

Moreover, it will only feature 10 operators or types of in-game characters and a limited number of maps including the House and Presidential Plane. Also, the Closed Alpha is specifically intended only for the PC platform and a select group of testers.

Ubisoft said that they have released the emails requesting the participation of lucky individuals. People who have not been chosen for the Closed Alpha need not worry since the Closed Beta will be around the corner which will guarantee involvement to people in all platforms whom have pre-ordered the game.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a first-person shooting game and has acquired a lot of attention since its first announcement. The game will feature military tactical gameplay in its campaign mode as well as online cooperative gameplay. It will also feature different modes of gameplay in which currently, Hostage Rescue is the only one confirmed.

The company is aiming to release Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege in its utmost condition, specifically, no bugs, glitches, and a stable online community for a smooth gaming experience. PC Closed Alpha tests the first few finished contents while on the Closed Beta, a wider set of content will be available for testing. As of the moment, the company aims to collect important response from experienced testers to make the Beta test as close to the to-be released game.
