R&B vocalist Ciara's career is about to go full throttle again this May. She is set to promote her sixth album, simply billed "Jackie" and will go on an 18-city tour. Part of the album is the single, "I Bet" which is rising in the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It's a ballad that many women nowadays can identify with, since it's a 'shout-out' to an ex. Some quarters say it's a jab at Ciara's ex-fiance, who reportedly cheated on her.

It appears that her five-year hiatus has done Ciara some good, as she's been exuding positive affirmations lately. Ciara feels she's ready to conquer challenges at every turn now, and believes she can harness the positive energies of the universe to be happy and successful. She's even co-starring in the new variety show, "I Can Do That!"

Ciara's upcoming concert tour and new album are her avenues for reconnecting with fans who missed her presence and spirited live performance. The American pop star gave birth to her son Future last year.

Before she took a long break from the entertainment scene, Ciara thrilled fans when she performed in summer concerts with popular rap artist Jay-Z. Fast forward to 2015. The sexy singer seems to have come back with a bang. While her single is fast catching on, there appears to be a dark cloud passing overhead. News has circulated that producer Jermaine Dupri has hurled accusation at Ciara and her music team for allegedly getting chords from Usher's "U Got It Bad." Another case of plagiarism? The fast rising singer has opted to stay mum on the matter for now.

With a tv show that's about to premiere, a month-long concert tour, and regular promotions in leading social media sites of her latest single, Ciara's certainly taking things one day at a time - and loving every moment of it.
