The international music scene never seems to run out of amazing talents. In the electronic dance music genre, there are standout artists who have made a mark and gained a huge following. Some of these gifted EDM musicians/DJs' tracks have been featured in tv programs, films, video games, and found their way into countless music fanatics' personal playlists. A handful of these crowd-pleasing EDM DJs, like Deadmau5 and Avicii, have collaborated with other talented artists and announced new albums.
Among the two hottest EDM DJs who soared to the top electronic charts this time last year were Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso. As some EDM DJ fanatics have noted, though, some artists' styles have evolved in terms of the tempo and overall style of their music. One of them is Avicii. EDM, of course spans a diverse range of styles and techno is just one of them.
This year, there are relatively new names climbing up the list of highly touted megastars-in-the-making, who have produced their own tracks/album and done numerous shows. Yet music enthusiasts all over the world still lose themselves in the music of Zedd (whose song "I Want You to Know" with Selena Gomez has reached number one in the Billboard Chart for hot dance & electronic songs); Martin Garrix; David Guetta; Alesso; and the Swedish duo Axwell Ʌ Ingrosso.
At the recent Ultra Music Festival in Miami, rendering their best EDM acts were Tiesto, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Skrillex, Avicii, Alesso, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, and many others.
Their ear-throbbing tunes have made these EDM artists among the top favorites. Meantime, both young & mature music lovers have repeatedly expressed that it would be nice if their favorite EDM DJs will keep churning out original sets. So who are your go-to EDM artists this 2015?
