A few hours after The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev have confirmed she is leaving the series, newlyweds-to-be Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were seen walking happily and giving each other a smooch while shopping in Venice, Los Angeles. on Monday. The couple was packing on the PDA wherein both were dressed in a bohemian fashion.
A report says the coosome twosome both wore a felt hat, jeans and boots. They were walking and holding hands while shopping. Nikki Reed was wearing a white see through blouse topped with a black blazer while Ian Somerhalder's sported a gray shirt with his leather jacket hanging on his shoulder. The rugged and cowboyish outfit made them seem in a relaxed state.
A SIGN OF RELIEF?
Meanwhile, some could not help but wonder if the public display of affection was a sign of relief especially on Nikki Reed's end now that her fiancé's ex girlfriend Nina Dobrev is set to leave The Vampire Diaries. A report quoted Nikki saying she is relieved that Nina will be out of the series because it would mean there would be no more awkward moments when she visits Ian on the set. Nina and Ian's relationship have been reported to be affected although the two are professional in public. On the other hand, Nina in her statement said that quitting the show after 6 years was already planned ahead for the reason that she wanted to see the world and take some rest.
Moreover, this is not the first time that the couple's public display of affection made headlines. The two were seen packing on the PDA at a basketball game in Los Angeles last December 2014.
It would not be a surprise though if Ian Somerholder and Nikki Reed would be seen packing on the PDA when they tie the knot soon this year.
