The Flash Season 1 Spoilers: Ronnie, Caitlin getting married? Grant Gustin teases surprising finale

By

The critically acclaimed The Flash season 1 is coming to a close in just a few weeks and fans are not prepared for what is about to come. While there is a wedding and a superhero teamup in future episodes, more villains are coming their way to cause more mayhem in Central City, and the season finale is not going the way fans expect it to go.

The Flash season 1 finale could end on a bright note since pictures of Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) and Caitlin Snow's (Danielle Panabaker) wedding surfaced. The entire cast is there except for Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh), who has revealed himself to be the season's main antagonist Reverse-Flash, so his absence is understandable.

While a wedding would be quaint and light on the viewer's emotional health, Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen or eponymous Flash, has said in an interview that the finale will bring a very big revelation that would amaze fans.

The actor himself admitted that he was surprised with the finale and even though he has seen fans speculating and theorizing, none of them have come close to what the season's finale is going to be! This could mean a huge cliffhanger that fans would have to wait months to see the resolution of when The Flash comes back for its second season.

More pictures appeared on the Internet showing Oliver Queen/Arrow (Stephen Amell), The Flash, and Ronnie/Firestorm going against Reverse-Flash. Though nothing more is shown, the combination of these characters in one scene would definitely lead to an eventful fight between three heroes and a villain.

Besides, Barry is going to need all the help he could get when Grodd the Gorilla and Killer Snow might be making their appearance soon in the show, giving The Flash more things to worry about other than the Reverse-Flash. Even the fastest man alive needs to rest at some point, right?

The Flash has been consistently giving strong episodes filled with action and drama. As the first season comes to an end, the show promises six more action-packed episodes that will not only excite fans but also play with their heartstrings.

The Flash season 1 will return with the latest episode entitled "All Star Team Up" on April 14.
