Project CARS Xbox One, PS4, PC Release Free DLC 1 Post Launch: 245mph Lykan Hypersport from Fast & Furious 7 added

Project CARS will finally be released in mid-May on Xbox One, PS4, PC and later for Wii U adding free DLC every month post launch starting with the blistering fast Lykan Hypersport car, Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed.

The first of the free vehicles is the Lykan Hypersport car which was featured in the new racing-action movie Fast & Furious 7. The vehicle can reach 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 245 mph. It also comes with a futuristic holographic dashboard display.

Creative director Andy Tudor said, "We are immensely pleased to have this awesome machine in the game and to give fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a truly amazing vehicle." He added, "The Lykan Hypersport represents the first of a series of free cars we'll be giving away every month as a thank you to our fans for being so patient for the launch of the game."

The gameplay trailer of Project Cars revealed an impressive and quite realistic weather effects. A day/night feature will also be inclusive in the game. Project Cars will feature as much as 30 cars simultaneously on real world tracks such as Spa Francochamps, Sonoma Raceway, and Brno in the Czech Republic.

Project CARS can now be pre-ordered where players can get five exclusive cars such as the McLaren F1 road car, Sauber C9 Le Mans prototype, BMW M1 ProCar, Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupe DTM car and 1967 Ford Mk IV endurance racing car.

The racing game was originally set to be released on November 2014 but was delayed to March 2015 in order to allow better development of the game. But as 2015 came, Project Cars release was announced to be moved to April. After the third delay,
