Doctor Who Season 9 Spoilers: Production team all set; New Doctor Who finally revealed

A different and interesting Doctor Who will be seen in Doctor Who Season 9 which starts this fall on BBC. Aside from this, fans can expect for a return of previous casts and a director, a new writer as well as an addition of characters.

DOCTOR WHO?

A report says that Peter Capaldi who plays Doctor Who will not be predictable this time. The actor, who was described to have a natural "Scottish gloom", will still be stern but will be funnier. This means lighter episodes can be expected in the sci-fi drama. The report quoted writer producer Steven Moffat in saying, "I'm writing quite funny this year - I'm pushing him the other way."

NEW CAST, WRITER, DIRECTOR

Moreover, there is information that Game of Thrones stars Maisie Williams and Paul Kaye will be an addition to the cast. Other guest stars to complete the characters are Morven Christie, Zaqi Ismail, Archer Ali, Steven Robertson, Colin McFarlane, Neil Fingleton, Sophie Stone and Neil Finglington. The possible comeback of Michelle Gomez, and the Paternoster Gang composed of Neve Mcintosh (Madam Vastra), Caitlin Stewart (Jenny) and Dan Starkey (Strax) is still being confirmed. Catherine Tregenna (Torchwood, Inspector Lewis, Casualty) will also be the new female writer of Doctor Who Season 9 since the last five years.Award-winning science fiction writer Neil Gaiman will also write scripts for the doctor.

Aside from these developments, it has also been reported that Doctor Who, which has been running for 10 years will still make waves for 5 more years. Technically, the science fiction program has been watched out for by fans around the globe for 36 years since it first aired from 1963 to 1989.

The eight season of Doctor Who ended last November followed by a special airing entitled Last Christmas. Doctor Who Season 9 which is currently being filmed will premiere soon this year.
