After raking a total of $1.09 billion worldwide, another franchise of the Transformers movie, "Transformers 5: Age of Extinction" is predicted to be breaking box-office records once more upon its release. This time around, to save on cost for bigger profits for Paramount Pictures, an all humanoid cast is rumored to be on the works. Will this mean that we will be missing Mark Wahlberg in the next movie of the franchise?
Transformers 4 may have kicked an extremely positive response from its fans worldwide but definitely not in revenues. This may be the main reason why a human free film is expected for the next installment of the series. In the latest movie, Optimus Prime revealed that he will be bringing the war to his planet. He is tired of compromising Earth's safety and decided to finally deal with his enemies. This could be a proof that well be seeing more robots and humanoids in the coming movie, potentially making the film a completely CGI produced movie.
Of course the possibilities of having Mark Wahlberg in the next film is also a possibility considering his appearance in the latest one provided a breather for fans of the movie. This time around, a love story for Wahlberg would most likely be included to the bucket lists of things the fans would want to see in the movie.
Earlier reports also revealed that Paramount Pictures might actually explore the "universe" thing just like Marvel and DC. Transformers might go and create its own "universe" and create a series of small stories here and there just like the rest of the science fiction and action movies in the market at present. This "universe" if pursued would be an interesting one considering that it will evolve with a world where gigantic robots co-exist. "Transformers 5: Age of Extinction" would be one of its kinds if its production decides to lean into this current trend.
No official announcements on the developments of the Transformers 5 movie have been announced yet.
