Destiny 2 Release Date this Fall Hinted by Activision: House of Wolves DLC launching, Patch 1.1.2 detailed

By

Game developer Bungie has announced that Destiny House of Wolves DLC will be released anytime soon while patch 1.1.2 is now made avaiable. It will come with additional game features as well as a series of fixes aimed to improve the game's experience. However, the company has yet to fully state what they have changed and added, though they did reveal some of the patch highlights.

The upcoming patch 1.1.2 for Destiny will update the raids and strikes but will also release features aimed to improve player experience. From the words of Senior Designer, Gavin Irby, they have prioritized improvements from a list that comes from the community feedback. Moreover, Activities Engineer, Sean Chan stated that most of the problems that they had to deal with were quite tricky and played a game-changing role in the game's satisfaction.

The Atheon and Crota Raid bugs were one of the series of problems that have been specifically mentioned to be fixed in the upcoming update. There was also a problem in the game wherein minotaurs cannot be damaged with the Relic shield which is also going to be fixed. In the words of the Activities Engineer, some of the bugs were truly baffling but they have dug deep to improve things.

However, in the strikes, most of the improvements are game changes rather than bug fixes. Being one of the longest and hardest game strikes, the Cerberus Vae III will be tweaked including reducing ValusTa'Aurc's health by a third of the original and reducing the shields of Psion Flayers by 15 percent. Bungie also assured that these changes have been made after several playtests which guaranteed that the strike was brought down to a reasonable difficulty level.

On the other hand, one additional feature for Destiny House of Wolves DLC was revealed which is the punishment pool. It is intended for players who regularly idle around that destroy the gameplay for other players. Though, as of the moment, it will only affect the worst idlers, those who go idle for a series of games nonstop.

Further details about improvements and changes will be found in the update's patch notes which is said to be released in the coming weeks. Though, with no specific date, players are expecting on a daily basis. However, surely enough, Destiny House of Wolves will be on its way very soon.

Finally, Activision, the publisher of Destiny has revealed that other than House of Wolves DLC, gamers can look also forward to another release relating to the game this fall which is speculated to be Destiny 2.
