This is the final piece of a three-part series that digests large amounts of Bloodborne guide to give gamers tips to make their gameplay a bit playable and not hellishly frustrating. After providing tips on basic things to put in mind when playing and the major gameplay technique, Youtuber BOYvsVIDEOGAME revealed when he defeated the unforgiving game without leveling up, it is time for gameplay secrets in Bloodborne.
The Regain system by creating blood bullets
This 'cool' technique is provided by Gamespot. The idea is to press the up button on the D-pad to create bullets by using one's health and quickly attack an enemy to exploit the regain system. The move will immediately add health to the character and thus be able to mass-produce bullets out of nothing.
Dry spells when farming
Though many are saying that items such as quicksilver bullets and blood vials are everywhere, it does get scarce if one dies every time and kills the same enemy again and again. It can be frustrating for Bloodborne farmers when 'dry' spells occur when blood vials are sorely needed.
Boot or punch fiends off ladders
When climbing ladders, players can press the R1 to punch up and R2 to kick down at climbing enemies. Though there are a limited number of enemies who will follow players climbing ladders, this move can greatly help. However, these attacks cost stamina and when stamina is exhausted, the player will fall down to his death while climbing.
Always siphon health out of monsters doing their awesome 'death' rattle
The regain system continues to remain active even if the monster is dying. A player can still get life when a monster, on its death animation, is hacked a few more times. Remember that in Bloodborne, only the most skilled, most creative and the luckiest get to reach the end.
There are more tips and guides left out, because it is hard to detail a walkthrough without giving out spoilers. However, these are just tips and guides to help players get the technique they need to finish the game themselves. As the Chinese saying goes, "teach a man how to fish, and you have fed him for the rest of his life."
