'Bloodborne' gameplay: unintentional bug exposes an 'Easy Mode' for players to beat the game

"Bloodborne" bills itself as one of the toughest games to ever be made available, but it appears as though there is at least one way to make things a little easier, thanks to a little bug.

The bug was discovered by one Reddit user going by the name of "Meatballz," and basically, what it does is take advantage of the built-in settings of the game.

Players who have been in the world of "Bloodborne" for a long time may have noticed that the game lowers its difficulty dynamically depending on just how much of a hard time the gamers may be having. It also seems as though one of the things the game's system looks for to determine whether or not it should lower difficulty is the amount of time being spent playing.

Considering those variables, it appears as though there is indeed an easier difficulty to be had if players simply leave their games running, according to Gamespot.

This appears to be the bug "Meatballz" has discovered.

After keeping the game running for about 12 hours, "Meatballz" was able to turn one of the game's more challenging boss fights into a relatively easy romp, according to Tech Times.

The bug also works on other bosses, so unless it's addressed, it could be a potential gamebreaker.

Even though the dynamic difficulty theory has been posed as a possible reason for the bug, "Meatballz" chalks up the issue to a possible "memory leak."

His reasoning for this line of thinking is because it certainly seems as though the bosses simply forget to execute some moves when this bug is deployed.

There is no official easy mode for the game, but there was talk about adding one, according to Forbes.

Even without the easy mode, players can still enjoy the unique world within "Bloodborne," and perhaps use that little bug when things get a bit too tough.
