Square Enix reveales new 'Star Ocean' game in Friday's teaser? Devs prepare production of Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade version

Gamers had been speculating on what was the message behind the 'secret' teased by Square Enix this Friday. Many gamers have speculated the next title from the game developer would be the new Star Ocean game.

The website, which contained the revealed teaser was described as a snow covered planet or a satellite image of a vast ocean. There were also a few letters and numbers on the image that were separated by gaps that might be a clue to what the next title from Square Enix could be; for one, gaming enthusiasts claimed that it could be the new "Star Ocean" game, based on a report from Streamer News.

Add to that, the website might have even revealed when the upcoming game would be due. Many in the gaming community pointed to April 13th as the due date for the upcoming game that was teased by Square Enix, based on a report from Gaming Bolt. Although, many gamers believed that this could not be Deus Ex Mankind Divided, a collaboration with Eidos since the game had already been announced earlier through a set of leaked images.

Meanwhile, it was also on Friday that Sqaure Enix announced that it would be making an arcade version of "Dissidia Final Fantasy," based on a report from iDigital Times. The project would be a collaboration between Square Enix and KOEI Tecmo Games' Team Ninja, makers of the sexy but deadly "Dead or Alive" series.

Apart from that, the arcade version of "Dissidia Final Fantasy" would be using PS4 core system technology that would surely improvement the game's graphic quality. The game would be a 3v3 battle system that included a variety of attack skills. Among those skills that would be included was the HP attack that would take away HP from the competition. Also, the game developers had confirmed some of the "Final Fantasy" characters that would be included in the new arcade game. These would be Cloud Strife ("Final Fantasy VII"), Ramza Beoulve ("Final Fantasy Tactics") and Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII).
