"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" would be a new installment in the "Deus Ex" franchise from Square Enix. The game developer had already teased earlier that a new game would be coming from a western studio. After Square Enix teased about an upcoming game, a live stream was set up that hardly revealed anything. Then again, the gaming community speculated and linked the upcoming game to the new "Deus Ex" title, based on a report from Gamespot.
Apparently, leaked images were discovered from a Russian website and revealed while the live stream was on-going. The leaked images revealed that the upcoming "Deus Ex" game would still have the same protagonist as Human Revolution, Adam Jensen. The leaked information also mentioned that the upcoming game would be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC editions.
Apart from not yet having a specific release date yet, gamers still did not have any faint clue as to how the sequel to "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" would be linked to the earlier announced "Deus Ex Universe," based on a report from Metro.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" would bring back Adam Jensen, "cybernetically augmented" hero, which would now be working for Interpol. Jensen would be helping out in tracking down cyborg terrorists amidst growing fear and hatred against "transhumans."
Add to that, Jensen would also be given a new set of augmentations that would help him with regard to stealth and combat options. One of the augmentations would be the "the ability to remote hack electronic objects, fire off his nano blade from a distance, and surround himself with a nearly indestructible nanoshield," based on a report from the Game Informer.
Meanwhile, gamers and avid fans of the first game would be able to check the announcement trailer for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" in the "Deus Ex" YouTube Channel, which was set on year 2029 during the end of the golden era of augmentations.
