"The Last of Us" gamers were disappointed with what was happening to the game's multiplayer as it seemed that the game developers had been milking the gamers from purchased upgrades. Apart from that, fans of the game might have to wait a little longer before getting their hands on the sequel.
In a recent game review, it was revealed that the latest DLC for "The Last of US" multiplayer would squeeze out a substantial amount of money from avid gamers just to get ahead of their competitors. Add to that, the review noted that "the more serious infraction here is in breaking one of the tenets of competitive multiplayer." The review also argued that "those who pay more should never have an advantage over those who don't. Unfortunately, that's exactly what the tactical weapons and survival skills bundles provide."
The review then said that "though it isn't utterly imbalanced with the premium content in play, the new guns and perks are often better than the base game counterparts. Not only that, but the loading screens are littered with advertisements, outlining just how great the new weapons and skills are," based on the article from Destructoid. On the other hand, there would be no doubt that "The Last of Us" was one the best game released last 2013 with a "fantastic" multiplayer.
Meanwhile, Naughty Dog gave further confirmation on their plan to create a sequel for "The Last of Us." The game developers said that Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley had already begun brainstorming on "The Last of US 2." However, Naughty Dog said that the game would not be produced any time soon, based on a report from MotoringCrunch.
It seemed that Naughty Dog had their plate full at the moment with several project. The game developer also noted that they first had to clear the schedule of minor project, including a major title and finale to a popular franchise, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."
