Forza Motorsport 6 has been recently confirmed though no further details about the game has been made public. However, Microsoft did reveal that they filed for a trademark application for ForzaTech in April 2 which is a proprietary graphics and simulation engine made and developed by Turn 10 Studios, the same company that developed Forza Motorsport 5 with their Forza 5 engine. With this information at hand, it is speculated that the upcoming game might be running on ForzaTech, despite no formal announcements.
As of the moment, people have high hopes that the engine will be used in the development of the game. Forza Motorsport 5 was made using Forza 5 engine which allowed the game to feature day/night cycles and dynamic weather. If Forza Motorsport 6 will use ForzaTech, it is possible that the game will reach a higher level of game visuals and take the series into new plateaus. Moreover, more weather patterns and other features of the game might be even expected.
To settle things straight, Microsoft is set to unravel further details about ForzaTech in the upcoming E3 this June. It will include when and how the engine will be used and whether or not it will be used in the development of the game. Additionally, during the event, further details about Forza Motorsport 6 will also be unveiled since its first announcement in January 12, 2015.
As of the moment, the only information about the game is that it will be exclusive to Xbox One and the possible release date will be around the Holidays of 2015. The game is the sixth installment in the Forza Motorsport series and is expected to feature gameplay and graphics much better than its prior versions.
Though, if Microsoft announces that ForzaTech is not going to be used in its development, it is likely that it will not be much different from Forza Motorsport 5. As a result, people are hopeful that Forza Motorsport 6 will be the game's graphics engine.
