The Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout continues as tech brands like Sony, OnePlus One, and HTC confirm the update either has arrived or is coming to their respective devices.

Today Sony has updated Xperia Z3 Dual, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra with the Android Lollipop, while Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 will receive the update next week. The Xperia Z Series, such as Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z, is also set for rollout in a few weeks time.

HTC has also started updating Desire Eye, Butterfly S, and One 8 with the Android 5.0 Lollipop, according to a report. The roll out was said to be available in Taiwan for the Device Eye and Butterfly S and in Hongkong for the One 8. The update's size was reportedly 708.86MB for the Butterfly S, 1008.9MB for HTC Desire Eye, and 955.27MB for One E8 with ROM version 5.16.709.3, 2.19.709.1, and 2.33.708.3, respectively.

The report also mentioned that the above mentioned devices will receive the Sense 7.0 UI update which debuted on the HTC One M9. This, and the rollout, wasn't confirmed yet by HTC. Aside from the three devices, only selected previous handsets will receive the 7.0 UI upgrade and proceed to devices with Android 5.1 Lollipop on board.

What's confirmed is HTC started releasing a system software update designed to fix HTC One M9 rear camera issues. The update claims to improve photo quality captured in both low-lit and bright conditions, and outdoors and indoors. Sharper images, more vibrant colors, and less wash-outs and noise are also expected with these system boosts.

OnePlus One's CyanogenMod 12S update is also confirmed to receive Android 5.0 after the company had secured certification for the update.

The company's co-founder, Carl Pei, announced the confirmation via Twitter stating that the CyanogenMod 12S update had "just passed certification today and should be available in a few weeks" via OTA. Improvements that can be expected from the update include enhanced permission and privacy controls and LiveDisplay for better display control.
