'The Order: 1886' gets new color options and additional 'photo mode' via most recently released patch

"The Order: 1886" received some interesting new additions allowing for both changes to the game's visuals, and even showcasing just how impressive those visuals actually are.

Despite the game drawing a lot of criticism for being extremely short, the one aspect of "The Order: 1886," people always appreciated were the stunning visuals the game had to offer. It's perhaps why the latest patch for the game has chosen to emphasize those positive points.

One of the main additions in the newest update gives players "photo mode," according to Gamespot. The new mode utilizes an untethered camera to better show off the game's visuals, and it even gives players the option to remove all the characters in a particular scene, so that the photo can instead focus on the beautifully rendered environment inside the game.

Players can also choose from different color grading options to come up with the exact shot of the game they want to show off. Other elements which players can tinker with in search of the ideal photograph include the brightness, depth of field, as well as the lens flare, according to Eurogamer.

Once the players have the shot they want, they can easily share the photo with their friends with the Playstation 4's built-in option. "Photo mode" has also been made available for other games such as "Driveclub," "Shadow of Mordor," and "The Last of Us."

Interestingly, players can also choose to retain the color grading they use for "photo mode" and implement it to the actual game, according to Dual Shockers. 21 different presets are available in the game on top of the default colors. The intensity of each of the presets can also be altered from 0 to 100%.

The in-game look of "The Order: 1886" can still be changed even further if players also opt to modify the brightness vignette and film grain options also made available through "photo mode."
