GTA 5 Online Heists Patch update was released on March 10 for both PS and Xbox platform. However, PC just recently received it this April 14 featuring the same additions. Though, having been tested earlier by the console platforms, it was found that the three new PvP modes are taking most of the hype.
"Come Out to Play" is a mode where there will be three "runners". Their goal is to make it home while being chased by a team of blood-thirsty hunters. However, their movement is limited by foot while the opposition will be on motorbikes or ATVs. Additionally, runners have only one life but all their weapons are available for use as compared to hunters that are limited to using only free-aim shotguns.
On the other hand, Siege Mentality is a different mode that will allow for four players. The general idea is a tower defense type game, defending one location from six determined attackers that will also have unlimited lives. Though, their weapons are only limited to sawn-off shotguns while defenders have access to all their weapons.
Out of all the three, Hasta La Vista is considered to be the most exciting since it does not involve the use of any weapon. The goal is for a team of cyclists to reach their destination without being crushed by pursuing trucks. If one cyclist reaches the destination, it is a win, however, if all cyclists die, the truckers prevail.
There are a lot more additions in the patch update including daily objectives, free roam activities, new vehicles, bug fixes, and many more. Moreover, this will prolong the fame of GTA 5 as Rockstar is already dropping hints that they are working on GTA 6.
As of the moment, there are no details about GTA 6 other than speculations from hints dropped during different interviews. Although, it is known that it will be taking place in New York City and might come out between 2018 and 2020. In the meantime, GTA 5 Online Heists patch for PS4 and PC is now available as the game takes the gaming world by storm.
