Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 closes the Storm series with unbelievable graphics, great gameplay, and a new roster of playable characters. Although a specific release date is yet to be announced, Bandai Namco officially revealed that the game will be released in Fall 2015.
CyberConnect2 truly went all out with the development of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 as seen in the game's latest trailer which featured the trio Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura teaming up for an Ultimate Jutsu Combination in battle. The environment's texture and shading have been significantly improved compared to previous Storm games. The controls were also reportedly developed in order to make the players feel more like a ninja themselves.
President and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama of CyberConnect2 revealed several new features that players can expect from the upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Among these new features is the ability to switch leader characters in the midst of battle and thus, there will only be one life gauge for all characters regardless of a two or three person team.
Matsuyama also said that they are still figuring out how to incorporate the wall fighting system in battle with one player on the wall and the other on the ground. The wall run system had been seen in previous Storm games but with both players fighting on a wall.
Apart from the return of the wall run system, players can also expect Ultimate Jutsu, Awakening, and Drive type battle systems in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. A new combination Ultimate Jutsu was revealed alongside the Hyuga Clan, featuring Neji, Hinata, Hanabi, and Hiashi. Hyuga Hanabi is a new playable character from the movie The Last: Naruto the Movie. However, Hiashi is only available in the Hyuga Clan Ultimate Jutsu.
Hokage Hajirama and Ucicha Madara were also added in the game's roster of playable characters. The game is also reportedly set to recreate the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the final instalment of the Storm series. Publisher Bandai Namco confirmed a Fall 2015 release for PS4, PC, Xbox One platforms in Japan, North America, and Europe.
