Though 'Gears of War 4' remains a wild guess among avid gamers, they are still hopeful that it would arrive in Xbox consoles. Advanced graphics for the game were also expected for the upcoming game.
Black Tusk has remained silent amid tons of speculations from the fans whether they will be making the sequel release possible this year or at least sometime after. However, it seemed like what they have told their fans is that they will be developing a sequel. No further details were disclosed to the public afterwards.
But, certainly, if a "Gears of War 4" launch were to happen, it wouldn't be in old-generation consoles due to the graphic quality. According to recent reports, they said that there won't be any sense if Black Tusk would pursue an Xbox 360 version for the game, since it would be too much for the graphic requirements compared to the Xbox One.
Furthermore, fans were still guessing if the sequel would start immediately after the end plot of "Gears of War 3"; especially noted parts of Marcus Fenix and as well as the recovery of Sera.
As per report, the game would be in next-generation consoles. Thus, it would be possible that it will arrive in PS4, too, since they have already predicted that "Gears of War 4" will not be arriving in an old-generation console such as the PS3 and Xbox 360. Therefore, it might be that the game will be designed for PS4 and Xbox One.
This claim was supported by another source stating that since Black Tusk has made "Gears of War 3" in PS4, it is really reasonable that it would be the same for the sequel. Perhaps, Sony would also cover the Microsoft's shooting game in their console. In addition, some fans like the idea that "Gears of War 4" would arrive in both PS and Xbox next-generation consoles just like success of "The Order: 1886."
There were also claims that it would also come in a local multiplayer mode, aside from having the usual single player for "Gears of War" sequel. Black Tusk was also mentioned to add a split-screen co-op feature in the sequel.
Unfortunately, no official word was made by Black Tusk in response to these claims as well as demands from the fans for the game. What avid gamers could do right now is to keep waiting for the newest updates from Black Tusk, regarding the details of "Gears of War 4" gameplay.
