Genoa City drama is about to reach its peak as shocking twists and devious plans take place in The Young and the Restless. On top of these is Sharon's arrest for the murder of Austin. Next, it is revealed that Phyllis may end up marrying Jack's doppelganger as the real one is sent off to an island with Kelly. Lastly, Avery breaks to Joe one very dreadful news.
Sharon Newman's car breaks and flags down Kyle's car to seek help to her surprise. Kyle takes Sharon home and later on reports to Noah and Summer that he found Sharon about to abscond. Paul and Dylan shows up and Dylan is forced to tell part of the story especially about the tire iron blood he had tested with Avery's help. Nonetheless, Paul decides to arrest Sharon but some mentions this might not be the whole story. Did Paul play with Dylan's cover-up this time?
Meanwhile, Billy arrives at the Abbott house and brings with him some huge news about the investigations on the hack at Jabot. He looks for Jack but the same just left for his wedding. Unable to keep the discovery that has been bothering him, he tells Ashley that the security footage shows it was Jack himself that is responsible for the hack.
Billy immediately calls Jack but his phone is turned off for the ceremony. Victor and Victoria arrive and learn what Billy just revealed to Ashley. Ashley on the other hand vehemently argues that Jack could never do something like this and there is no way he can pull off such a trick. Victoria is not convinced and that it is easy for Jack to bypass security through his phone. How will Jack reason his way through this especially that he face a bigger problem on the day of his wedding?
Moreover, Joe and Avery are seen in a hospital together. Joe continues to work and code but Avery gets persistent in making him rest. The doctor in turn warns Avery that Joe shows odd reaction to anaesthesia although he is alright as of this moment.
A drama ensues between the two as Avery admits she is wrong for pushing Joe hard but Joe says it is not completely her fault and he has part on his demise. Later on, the doctor reveals to Avery that there is swelling in Joe's spine that may cause him to be paralyzed. She discloses to Joe what the doctor mentions but he is far from accepting it to be real. Will Joe be paralyzed for good?
