Final Fantasy XIV has another expansion, with brand new cinematic trailers, new gameplay systems, even a new playable race. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is the penultimate package for hardcore fans of the massively multiplayer online role playing game.

Square Enix Group hosted its 20th edition of "Letter from the Producer LIVE" last Saturday where producer/director Naoki Yoshida discussed the latest expansion for the Final Fantasy game series. The game picks up after the finale of the previous Final Fantasy expansion set. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is an extension of its predecessor Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn.

Game developers and producers give high regard to the players that are devoted to playing their game and believe that these players have a right for their voices to be heard. Yoshida is a producer that addressed their concerns during the presentation. A full summary guide to the exchange can be found in the Square Enix online community forum.

The cinematic trailer entitled "Final Fantasy XIV: Flames of Truth" reveals the truth behind the destruction of the realm of Eorzea, and the details that gave birth to a new world. The cinematic trailer was only previously accessed by defeating a high-level boss raid "Final Coil of Bahamut". The new cinematic trailers are testament to pushing the boundaries of today's computer graphic experience.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will be released on the 23rd of June, 2015. The story for the new expansion picks up after the A Realm Reborn, set in the middle of a great war between the knights and dragons of the realm. Discover a whole new Final Fantasy experience as Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward opens its doors to a new playable race, new flying mounts, new dungeons, raids, and battles.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward is available for PC, PS4, and PS3 gaming consoles.
