Aside from the initial problems GTA V pc version encountered on its release date, everything is going well for Rockstar's iconic game title. The game is greatly optimized for the PC that it doesn't take much to crank gaming experience to 4K level.
Eurogamer offered its expert advice on how to boost up one's GTA V pc experience way up to 4K. Everything starts with the power of video cards.
"At the lowest end of the spectrum we have Nvidia's circa £100 GTX 750 Ti, joined by AMD's mid-range R9 280 and 290 cards (at £140 and £220 respectively), while at the top we have a GTX 780 Ti at £320. Each is placed into our quad-core Intel i7 4970K machine in turn, itself backed by 16GB RAM and a speedy SSD to house the game's 64GB install."
On the release of the game, many are happy to see the minimum requirements needed to play the game. However, many are surprised than even on its minimum setting, the game is already wonderful, especially when compared to GTA IV's pc release.
Videos clips of graphics difference are posted by Eurogamer, helpfully showing how the game looks using different rigs.
This analysis is backed up by contributor, Jason Evangelho of Forbes, with his benchmark tests on GTA V. He posted along with his blog a handy infographic showing the performances of different video cards when attempting to reach the highest quality, GTA V can give.
Though problems are bound to pop-up, it is unlikely that it will be game-breaking. Rockstar is busy on their patching progress to weed out bugs and errors some gamer's experience and on its way to perfecting the game. However, no matter how many errors do occur, GTA V for the PC is running good and many fans, including critics alike are amazed at the level of detail, graphical mastery and an almost unlimited gameplay Rockstar has developed to further set the bar on how open-world games should be.
