Taraji P. Henson made more popular as she recently portrays the fiery Cookie Lyon in the FOX drama "Empire" favours Tyrese Gibson as her new love interest in the series' Season 2. During the last season, Lucious Lyon ends in jail while Jamal earns the Empire throne against his brothers Andre and Hakeem.
Henson reveals in an E Online! interview that if such collaboration is going to happen, the popularity of the show skyrockets as the creator gears on inviting stellar cast for a great plot for the installment.
"I am rooting for Tyrese because I think we will actually break the Internet if that happens," she mentions.
Regarding Henson's future in the series, Empire's Executive Producer Ilene Chaiken divulges in an interview that she herself is excited to see what is in store of Cookie in the next season. Cookie's nasty and eventful history centers in the last season and how it disintegrated her away from Lucious. On the next season, Cookie is rumored to reclaim her reign in Empire as a scorching and hostile takeover ploy is at play together with Lucious' former fiancé, Annika.
Aside from Tyrese, the name of Lenny Kravitz was in the news a few weeks back enlisted to join the super star-packed second season. Although the "negotiations" between Empire creator Lee Daniels and Kravits are still in the early stage, numerous fans agree the show is where a Lenny Kravits belongs.
"I spoke to Lee today, actually," breaks the legendary rock icon in an interview with Extra!
The two already have a history of working together in The Butler and Precious hence the partnership in another series is largely promising. Kravitz is likely to be introduced as Lucious long lost sibling. It is noteworthy as fans wait for the second installment to note that, it that Empire creators and executive producers are in for the kill on the second season as Lee Daniels confirms that he also eyes Oprah, Common and Denzel Washington to appear on the show.
