Marvel's Secret Sect Of Superheroes, "Inhumans" Will Finally Have A Director Via Adam McKay?

By

American screenwriter and director Adam McKay is reported to be one of the vital cogs in Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Three master plan. The 47-year-old Mckay is being shepherd to be the man behind the lens for Marvel Studio's film adaptation of "Inhumans".

McKay is notable for his partnership with comedian actor Will Ferrell for the screenplays on the following films: Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and Step Brothers. He is also recently familiar to the Marvel cinema audience for rewriting the screenplay with actor Paul Rudd for "Antman". The director will be working on a script by Joe Robert Cole if all things will carry out successfully for this long-gestating movie project. Kevin Fiege, Marvel Studios' head honcho had a recent talk with Collider, which further bolstered the odds of the talented director to be a part in one of Fiege's passion ventures:

"Adam McKay is in the running for everything. Adam McKay is a great, great writer and director," said Feige. "He did an amazing pass on the Ant-Man draft with Paul Rudd for us, and I didn't know him before then. And we got to know him through that and liked him very much, and have met with him a number of times trying to find something else, so we've talked about a lot of characters with him.

Inhumans is one of the films in the Phase Three category along with Captain Marvel and Black Panther, which still does not have a definite director. Fiege is known to have a "soft spot" for Marvel comic book adaptations which involved eccentric characters. The premise for the comic book is akin to "Guardians of the Galaxy" wherein outsiders and misfits encompass the superhero roster.

Though the movie is still quite a long shot before the slated date of July 12, 2019, the sense of excitement, expectancy, and hype that will eventually surround the film is already brewing.
