As Hannibal returns on Season 3, the character of Abigail Hobbs as the daughter and partner in crime of serial killer Garret Jacob Hobbs may not make it alive from the hands of the cannibal. Oscar-winner and mexican cinematographer Guillermo Navarro meanwhile will make the TV series alive wherein filming is set to wrap up soon.

ONE DOWN?

According to a report, in the last season, it showed Hannibal leaving almost all of the lead characters dead such as Will, FBI Director Jack, Dr. Alana Bloom and Abigail Hobbs. However, some of them have revealed that they will be back in the new season. Lawrence Fishburne, who plays Jack, has reportedly said that he will still appear in the new season. Caroline Dhavernas (Dr. Alana Bloom) will also be seen alive and kicking in the first episode. Hugh Dancy (Will Graham) on the other hand is on the series' trailer so there is no doubt that he will still be looked forward to soon. The report says, that leaves Abigail Hobbs behind. In the last season, she was slashed in the neck by Hannibal while on his way out of his door to escape to Europe. This is said to be where the story will begin in Season 3.

ALMOST READY

Meanwhile, a source says filming for the said series is nearly finished. Three more episodes will be filmed before the end of April. The new villain in the movie named as Francis Dolarhyde also known as Red Dragon and Tooth Fairy, will be played by Richard Armitage. He will appear on the last 6 episodes of Hannibal.

The said role will be focused on by Mexican and Oscar-winner cinematographer Guillermo Navarro. A report says Navarro, who directed some parts of season 1, will direct half of the episodes where the Red Dragon will be seen. The director admitted that it was a challenge for him to capture the evilness of the character.

Aside from the possibility that Abigail Hobbs' may no longer make it, more interesting developments will be expected as Hannibal Season 3 airs at 10 p.m. on June 4 on NBC.
