Just less than two months before the U.S. debut, Universal Studios has released the global trailer for the "Jurassic World" on Monday featuring an extended look at the park's new genetically-spliced attraction "Indominus Rex" called the D-Rex. The new trailer, which somewhat echoes the "Jurassic Park" movie, also includes new shots of the "Pteranodons," "Velociraptors" and lots of homages to the original movie.
The trailer is action-packed and dinosaur-filled. It opens with the new version of the raptor pen. The scene wherein Owen Grady, portrayed by Chris Pratt, is calming a pack of "Velociraptors" that has been shown on earlier clips has been reiterated. "It's not about control," he says. The first clip from the movie featuring a conversation between Owen Grady and Claire Dearing has also been echoed. Anyone who grumbled about the lack of dragons and action on the previous clips will be satisfied with the new trailer.
Meanwhile, before the said "official trailer" has emerged, three brand-new posters were also unveiled by Universal Studios. The first one features Chris Pratt's Owen Grady on a motorcycle with his "velociraptors" racing alongside him and followed by the second poster that shares a glimpse of the "mosasaurus." The third one shows Claire Dearing facing the giant "Indominus Rex."
"Jurassic World" is the fourth installment to the "Jurassic Park" film series. It is set 22 years after the events of Steven Spielberg's 1993 "Jurassic Park" movie based from the 1990 hit novel of the same title by American best-selling author Michael Crichton. It is set to be released in North America on June 12 and will be available in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters. The movie is led by Christ Pratt playing Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing.
