Android 5.1 custom ROMs for LG G3, OnePlus One, and Moto E devices are available for download and installation. XDA Developer Forum member Life Walker provided the custom ROM for the LG G3, while the Cyanogen provided the custom ROMs for both OnePlus One and Moto E devices. Installing the CyanogenMod Android 5.1 CM12.1 Custom ROM for LG G3

XDA Developer Forum members have released latest custom ROM of Android 51. OS to LG G3 smartphones. The update is constructed on the CyanogenMod CM12.1 series, developed by programmer Life Walker. The custom ROM will bring various customization, features, performance enhancements, and improved UI to the said device.

The custom ROM is still an experimental beta version and there are some untested bugs in it. It is recommended to go through the tutorial completely before moving on with the installation.

Things to remember before installing the CyanogenMod ROM:

1. Ensure that the device is rooted.

2. The new CyanogenMod CM12.1 Android 5.1 must be installed exclusively on the LG G3 (D855) version. If tried with other devices, it will brick them. Check your device version.

Cyanogen has also released latest CM12.1 custom ROM to the HTC OnePlus One device. The nightly version is built on AOSP (Android Open Source Project) 5.1 Lollipop. The version brings various bug fixes and performance-enhancing modifications. Though it is an official CyanogenMod ROM, the custom ROM is quite unstable and has some untested minor bugs. However, this is going to be fixed. Currently, the Cyanogen is working on a more stable M (Milestone) series.

Installing the Official CyanogenMod Android 5.1 CM12.1 Custom ROM for Moto E

Lastly, a CyanogenMod Android 5.1 CM12.1 custom ROM is available for the Moto E (aka Condor) device. Cyanogen has also released the nightly version of the latest CM12.1 custom ROM to Moto E.
